Description: with an international consortium of 7 partners, Inspire is a 2 ½-year project contributing to the creation of smart home environments. Its main objective is the integration of a multilingual, interactive, natural, speech dialogue-based assistant for wireless command and control of home appliances (e.g. consumer electronics). Emphasis is given on infotainment (information and entertainment) equipment and services.

| Nomadic Media
Description: The Nomadic Media Project is an ITEA (Information Technology for European Advancement) project, financed by the Public Authorities of the participating companies, institutes and universities. The project addresses several technology issues in the ITEA 'Technology Road/ map on Software Intensive Systems' and is a 2-year project that will run until the end of June 2005.
