After my graduation as an experimental psychologist at the University of Ghent (Belgium), I worked as a research assistant at the University of Antwerp. In 1994 I joined Philips Research in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Next to my position at Philips Research I am holding a professor (by special appointment) position at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
